DRUG ARREST TAKES PLACE AT EXECUTIVE INN IN CROSSVILLE

While on patrol yesterday morning, a Crossville police officer observed at the Executive Inn an occupied vehicle in an area not frequently used. The report states 52-year-old Chad L. Cosens of Pikeville allegedly tried to hide a glass pipe with burnt residue. Cosens supposedly told law enforcement he had meth in the room he was staying in. The report states Cosens agreed to let law enforcement go inside the room to retrieve a small bag of meth. Officers say four other small bags containing a white crystal type substance were located in another cigarette pack on the passenger side seat of the automobile Casons was in. He was arrested for felony possession of a drug and transported to jail.
