EARLY VOTING BEGINS TODAY!

Early voting in the National, State and Municipal Election on Nov. 8th begins today. In Cumberland County, voters will be casting ballots for President, 6th Congressional District US House and 25th District State Representative. Two city council seats are up for election in Crossville and in the City of Pleasant Hill. The City of Crab Orchard will elect a mayor. Roane County will choose representatives in the U.S. House of Representatives 3rd District, along with State House Reps from the 31st and 32nd Districts and 12th District Senate. The City of Rockwood will choose three city council members along with having a referendum on selling wine in retail food stores. The City of Oliver Springs will choose three Aldermen along with voting for or against liquor by the drink. Harriman will vote for a sales tax referendum, Kingston will vote for three city council members, while Oak Ridge will vote for three city council members, a city judge and two school board members. Early voting runs through Thursday Nov. 3. In Cumberland County, vote at the Election Commission Office on Main St. across from the courthouse Mon.-Fri from 8 AM-5 PM and on Saturdays from 8 AM-12 N. In Roane County, you may vote Mon.-Fri from 9 AM-5 PM EST and on Saturdays from 9 AM-1 PM EST. In Roane County you may vote at the Community Centers in Kingston, Harriman and Rockwood and at First Christian Church in Oak Ridge.
