Early voting continues in the listening area for the May 1, 2018, primary election, and turnout ranges from light to heavy. As of yesterday the following vote totals have been recorded: Anderson County, 4,907; Loudon County, 4,747; Cumberland County, 3,633; Meigs County, 1,215; Overton County, 709; McMinn County, 700 and Pickett County, 449. Roane, Morgan and Fentress counties will not have primary elections and will have a general election in August. The last day for early voting for the May 1 primary is tomorrow by the end of the business day.
