EARLY VOTING IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY STARTS WEDNESDAY AT NEW TEMPORARY LOCATION
The 2026 election cycle in Cumberland County, Tennessee, and surrounding areas features an early voting period for the May 5, 2026 County Primary Election running from Wednesday, April 15 through Thursday, April 30, 2026.
This primary includes certain state judicial offices and county offices selected through partisan processes, marking the first time the county commission election is partisan. It will be followed by the August 6, 2026 General Election, which will feature independent candidates for county offices, the state primary, and various local races.
The Cumberland County Election Commission office suffered major fire damage on Thursday, March 26, 2026. As a result, a temporary office has been established at the former Lansford Kawasaki location, 2876 N. Main Street, Crossville, TN 38555.
Early voting for the May 5 primary will take place at this new facility on North Main, with hours Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Election Day polling sites on May 5 remain unchanged.
