Early voting starts today (Wednesday, October 17, 2018) for the upcoming November 6 election. In Cumberland County, citizens may vote early at the election commission office on Main Street Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. until noon. In Roane County, the hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. eastern. Many other counties will operate under nearly the same hours, but you are encouraged to call your election commission office for the exact hours for early voting, which will end November 1, 2018.
