An East Tennessee Amber Alert was issued in the abduction of a 4-year-old girl believed to be in extreme danger in Florida by a man with an Alabama license plate.  Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said they have a credible, possible sighting of Rebecca Lewis, 4, in the area of Cove Lake State Park in Campbell County.  She was last seen wearing a pink dress.  Rebecca was reportedly taken by a reported family friend named West Wild Hogs, 31, also known as Matthew Clark Pybus, who is a white male, 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 256 pounds. Hogs has strawberry blonde hair and blue eyes. He legally changed his name to West Wild Hogs and is reportedly from the Seale, Alabama area.  Hogs also has a scar shaped like the letter “L” on the left side of his head and a tattoo of a blue cross and another tattoo of a Chinese symbol. TBI says he was last seen wearing a light colored shirt and blue jeans.

Investigators say Hogs took off in Rebecca’s mother’s car without her permission. He may be traveling in a 2012, silver Nissan Versa, Alabama handicap tag number 4JL26. The vehicle has a magnetic animal rescue paw on the driver side portion of the trunk.  Polk County Sheriff’s Office said Rebecca appeared to be in good health. Hogs direction of travel is unknown other than north out of Florida. He does have ties to the Seale, Alabama area, located in Russell County southeast of Auburn or Opelika.

Family said Hog was a family friend. They said he showed up at the grandmother’s home unannounced on Friday and was getting ready to start on a new job.  On Saturday, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office said he abducted Rebecca, taking her to a nearby McDonald’s restaurant and then driving with her to Georgia. Around 9:45 a.m. Saturday Rebecca’s 16-year-old sister said she woke up and Rebecca was not in bed. Rebecca’s parents said they searched the area around their home for over an hour before calling law enforcement.
