Tuesday morning a major house fire rushed South Roane County Fire personnel along with Emergency Operations Center vehicles, hazmat, and mutual aid agencies to 600 River Road. The house fire produced smoke that could be seen from miles away. Extensive damage was reported to the structure.

There were no injuries reported.
