Fairfield Glade firefighter James Botbyl, who also serves as their treasurer, has been placed on administrative leave. A bank in Cumberland County recently notified the Fairfield Glade Fire Department of irregularities on some of the fire department’s accounts. The department’s board of directors is working with the district attorney’s office and the sheriff’s department in this matter. No other information was released.
