A Rockwood elementary school had some excitement as students headed back to school Wednesday morning. A fire alarm sounded at Ridge View Elementary just as children were returning from their Winter break. Students that were already inside the school were immediately evacuated, and a massive traffic jam was reported as parents and buses were also in the process of dropping students off. Traffic became backed up to nearly one half mile away to gateway Ave. Fire crews checked the building and the all-clear was given around 7:45 after no fire was reported.
