FEDERAL LAWSUIT DISMISSED IN REGARDS TO ROANE COUNTY SHOOTING CASE
A federal lawsuit has been dismissed in regards to a shooting case in Roane County. Bobby, Jacob, and Loretta Murray filed the suit against District Attorney General Russell Johnson, Assistant D.A. Lauren Bennett and Roane County Investigator Art Wolff. Bobby and Jacob were indicted for attempted murder and aggravated assault after the incident that injured Joshua Brown in 2014. The Murrays claim Johnson, Bennett and Wolff are biased against them and asked the judge to stop them from participating in the case. That was denied by the judge in the suit. The trial for Bobby and Jacob Murray is scheduled for December 4, 2018.
