A Cumberland County deputy responded Friday to Liberty Market in Crab Orchard to a disturbance.

The arrest report states that 18-year-old Edith Vivian Brooks of West Columbia, South Carolina, attacked a female and stole the victim’s dog.

The victim has open cuts and red marks on her throat, face, and head.

An emergency medical technician observed a human bite mark on the victim’s breast.

Brooks told officers she has a history of being arrested for biting people.

Deputies arrested Brooks for felony aggravated assault and theft of property.
