FENTRESS COUNTY MAN ARRESTED IN CROSSVILLE ON DRUG CHARGES

A Fentress County man is facing drug charges after being pulled over yesterday (Wednesday, May 24, 2017) by police in Crossville, Tennessee. Officers responded to Northside Drive to a report of a reckless driver and intercepted a white van driven by 44-year-old Phillip Ray Ledbetter of Clarkrange. According to the police report, Ledbetter gave consent for the vehicle and him to be searched. That allegedly revealed a pouch containing four syringes and two small plastic bags containing meth. Ledbetter was arrested and charged with possession of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving on a suspended license. Ledbetter was also issued citations for speeding, driving while not restrained and driving without insurance.
