A Fentress County man charged with first-degree murder appeared in criminal court yesterday. Court documents state 38-year-old Wayne Ellis Kassow stands accused of fatally stabbing Mark Jennings in April 2019. Jennings’ body was found at a Casto Knepp Road residence in Jamestown. In court yesterday, the case was continued to February 18, 2020. The district attorney’s office says the continuance was for additional discovery that needs to be submitted to the defense attorney for review.
