Imagine coming home and seeing a male subject wearing a hockey mask and holding a running chainsaw blocking your way up to the dwelling. That is what reportedly happened late yesterday to a resident of Linger Lake Road in Cumberland County. The report states 35-year-old Douglas Matthew Fields was asked to move and he revved up the chainsaw and yelled. He eventually left and authorities encountered Fields on the front porch of his home nearby with the mask and chainsaw next to him. During questioning, officers allegedly smelled a strong odor of alcohol coming from Fields. He was arrested for public intoxication.
