A Roane County home received heavy damage from a fire yesterday (Sunday, November 19, 2017). Crews from most volunteer fire departments in Roane County sent trucks and personnel to battle the blaze on Martin Hollow Road in Harriman. When crews arrived on the scene, the home was fully engulfed and requested assistance since there was no fire hydrants close by. There were no injuries reported as a result of the fire.
