Multiple fire agencies responded to the Jayro Apartments on Highway 70 in Midtown this afternoon for a blaze inside one of the dwellings. They arrived to see smoke coming from one unit and stopped it from spreading. The occupants were able to get out safely, and no injuries were reported. A cause is being determined.
