A disabled Meigs County man is lucky to be alive today after firefighters rescued him from a house fire last night on Warren Street. The man had been trapped in the home when the blaze broke out. Officers say he did not suffer any burns and was taken to an area hospital to be checked out. His name was not released by authorities.
