FIREFIGHTERS RESPOND TO BLAZE AT FLOWERS BAKERY
Crossville firefighters were called to Flowers Bakery last night around 10 p.m. for a blaze. Fire officials told 105.7 News this morning the fire was contained to one of the large ovens in the plant. Employees were evacuated and later sent home as the plant was shut down for the evening. Some structural damage was reported. Cumberland County Fire Department responded mutual aid to assist the Crossville Fire Department in battling the blaze. Fairfield Glade firefighters came into Crossville to back up the city for possible calls that may have come in during the incident. The fire was brought under control just after midnight. No injuries were reported; the cause is undetermined at this time.
