FIREFIGHTERS RESPOND TO VEHICLE BLAZE ON SIDE OF CUMBERLAND CO. HIGH SCHOOL
Crossville firefighters responded late this afternoon to Cumberland County High School to not only put out a truck fire next to the building but to stop the flames from entering the structure.
Fire Chief Chris South told 105.7 News the vehicle was parked next to the wall of the F wing. An electrical fire started in the automobile that quickly engulfed and destroyed the pickup. It was catching the roof line ablaze when crews arrived and extinguished it. No injuries were reported and very minimal damage was done to the school.
