FISH ROAD RESIDENT ARRESTED ON METH CHARGES
Wednesday afternoon, Cumberland County sheriff’s deputies met up with 53-year-old Bobby Allen Smith at his home in Crossville, regarding possible drug sales.
Smith stated he’s on parole and gave consent for a search of the home. Next to his bed was a plate with meth residue. Smith said there was nothing else illegal in the residence. Deputies deployed K-9 Apollo to confirm this. Apollo alerted to the presence of drugs in the laundry room. Inside a container labeled “Pinto Beans,” deputies found a bag containing a scale and bags of a crystalline substance. Approximate weight of the drugs was 5.57 grams.
Smith was charged with felony manufacture, sale, delivery or possession of meth and was placed under $10,000 bond. He’s due in court March 18.
