TRAFFIC STOP RESULTS IN DRUG ARREST FOR CROSSVILLE MAN
Saturday evening, Cumberland County deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle along Genesis Road. Deputies knew the driver, 28-year-old Jason Lee Young, had a suspended license.
A consent search of the vehicle turned up a used syringe with meth residue under the driver’s seat. Young admitted it was his and he’d used meth the previous day. Young was charged with simple possession of meth, driving on a suspended license and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
Bond was set at $4,500 and Young is due in court March 18.
