FLOOD WATCH ISSUED FOR NEARLY ALL OF TENNESSEE
The National Weather Service has issued a FLOOD WATCH from noon Thursday (January 2, 2020) to 6 p.m. Friday (January 3, 2020) for nearly all of Tennessee, including all of the 105.7 The Hog listening area. Rainfall amounts of 1 to 4 inches are expected. Heavy rainfall could lead to flooding of roads, low lying areas, low water crossings, rivers, creeks and streams. A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on current forecasts. You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible flood warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.
