A former Crossville resident was killed in a vehicle accident today in DeKalb County. Troopers say the crash took place on Old Mill Hill Road where 56-year-old Michael A Murphy of Liberty and 50-year-old Angelia Sue Burke of Liberty, previously from Crossville, died from injuries sustained. The vehicle left the right side of the road, traveled down an embankment, and struck a tree. Burke was ejected from the passenger-side window and pinned between the tree and the vehicle. The accident is under investigation.
