The Roane County Sheriff’s Department located a former Knox County orthopedic doctor last night who was missing since April 20, 2020. Officers say 64-year-old Jonathan Degnan was found well off mile marker 362 on Interstate 40. Degnan was involved in a vehicle accident and had been there for several days. Deputies found Degnan alive and safe last night. Before being found, he was last seen in the western part of Knox County.
