FORMER ROANE AND CUMBERLAND COUNTY TEEN KILLED IN ACCIDENT

A celebration of life will be held tonight (Thursday, June 7, 2018) from 6 to 8 p.m. at Roane State Expo Center in Harriman for a high-school student in Monroe County who was a former Roane and Cumberland County resident. Sixteen-year-old Breeana Kaylynn Rose died in a vehicle accident on I-64 in Goochland County, Virginia, when a vehicle driven by 31-year-old Genna Hankee rear-ended a car driven by 42-year-old Lori Ann Ivens of Madisonville, Tennessee. Rose, a passenger in Ivens’ vehicle, died from injuries sustained. Hankee was charged with reckless driving. Rose attended Sequoyah High School.
