FOUR ARRESTED IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY AFTER BURGLARY IN PROGRESS

Cumberland County deputies responded yesterday to a possible burglary at a residence on the 900 block of Plateau Road.

Upon arrival, officers started to search for signs of forced entry when they spotted movement in the house.

The owner told officers no one was supposed to be there as it should have been unoccupied with no power or water on.

Individuals in the residence began closing curtains and placing items in front of the windows.

Deputies yelled for the intruders to surrender and come out with their hands up.

After several minutes, three suspects came out and were taken into custody. A fourth subject was in the restroom and arrested.

Deputies searched inside the home and found a deceased dog and various forms of drug paraphernalia.

Deputies arrested 30-year-old Timothy David Delong of McMinnville, 21-year-old Chance Tucker of Crossville, 39-year-old Troy Leonard Patterson of Crossville, and 20-year-old Orion Paige Hobbs, listed as homeless.

Deputies charged all four for aggravated criminal trespassing.
