FOUR ARRESTED ON DRUG AND THEFT CHARGES

Four people are facing charges in Fentress County on drug and theft charges. Deputies say a 1997 Dodge truck was recently confiscated that was involved with taking trailers from select areas of Fentress County. Officers charged 40-year-old James Roysden of Crossville with possession of Schedule II and VI drugs, driving on a suspended license and criminal impersonation. Deputies took 39-year-old Heather Transberg of Crossville into custody for possession of Schedule II, III and VI drugs, tampering with evidence and possession of drug paraphernalia. In a separate incident, officers observed a truck reported stolen in Putnam County in the Clarkrange area. Deputies arrested 45-year-old Regina Martinez of Cookeville for theft over $1,000 and possession of a stolen vehicle. Also arrested was 34-year-old Tamer Jones of Baxter for theft of property. All four were taken to the Fentress County jail and placed under bonds ranging from $10,000 to $125,000.
