FOUR VEHICLE CRASH ON I-40 IN ROANE COUNTY LEAVES ONE INJURED
A four vehicle crash on I-40 in Roane County yesterday afternoon left one hurt. Troopers say a 2003 Harley Davidson operated by 60-year-old Katryn M. Moreau of Belleville, Illinois got on I-40 from the exit 356 on ramp and came upon a 2019 Freightliner operated by 46-year-old Laveus Franckel of Orlando who was stopped for congested traffic. Moreau applied the brakes and the motorcycle went on its side sliding into the rear of the tractor-trailer. That is when a 2014 Toyota Sienna van driven by 68-year-old Judith McKinney of Kingston slowed to avoid colliding with the motorcycle and semi. McKinney was rear ended by a 2008 Ford van operated by 42-year-old Martin Munoz of Raleigh, North Carolina. Munoz was charged with failure to exercise due care. Moreau was injured and charges are pending against her.
