FRITO-LAY RECALLS JALAPENO CHIPS FOR POSSIBLE SALMONELLA CONTAMINATION
Frito-Lay has recalled certain chip varieties for a possible Salmonella contamination.
According to the Food and Drug Administration, the Salmonella is possibly in the seasoning of the jalapeño flavored Lay’s Kettle Cooked Potato Chips and jalapeño flavored Miss Vickie’s Kettle Cooked Potato Chips.
Children, the elderly and those with weak immune systems can be seriously and, in some cases, fatally impacted by Salmonella.
Symptoms can be diarrhea, fever, nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain, according to the FDA.
