Gail Hannah Griffith, age 69, of Crossville, passed away August 27, 2018. She is survived by her daughter: Shannon Griffith. Memorial services will be held Tuesday September 4, 2018 at 7 p.m. from the chapel of Hood Funeral Home in Crossville. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

She was born on October 23rd, 1948 in Osceola, AR to Ordell and Margie (Walls) Hannah.
She graduated from Arkansas State University with a degree in Education.
She began her teaching career in Arkansas, then moved to Crossville, and found what would become her second family at Pleasant Hill School.
If you knew Ms. G, as she was affectionately known as, you knew 2 things: her love of Arkansas Razorbacks and her love for “her kids.” Her other loves included gardening, watching her birds, the beach and her pups and grandpups.
