A Cumberland County deputy checked on a vehicle and its passengers in the Budget Inn parking lot Saturday to see if they needed assistance. That resulted in one going to jail. The report indicates 41-year-old Daniel Lewis Gee of Crossville handed the officer a black case once he was asked if he had anything illegal. The case supposedly contained meth and morphine. Gee was arrested for manufacture, sale and delivery of meth and two counts of simple possession of drugs.
