GOLLIHER ARRESTED FOR METH, DRIVING ON SUSPENDED LICENSE

Late Saturday night, Cumberland County deputies conducted a routine traffic stop along Peavine Road for failure to maintain a single lane of travel. While approaching the vehicle, the deputy said, he “noticed the female driver completely turned around staring at me while reaching underneath the driver seat.”

Deputies identified her as 36-year-old Samantha Jean Golliher of Crossville.

She admitted her license was suspended. Dispatch confirmed it was suspended for a prior DUI.

When asked what she had put beneath the seat, she admitted it was a used syringe. Deputies retrieved a used, uncapped syringe with an off-white liquid in it that field tested positive for meth.

Golliher was charged with driving on a revoked or suspended license and possession of meth. She was placed under $4,500 bond and is due to appear in court March 11.
