A Cumberland County grand jury has indicted a man on charges stemming from an incident late last year. Court documents indicate 45-year-old Avery Laverne Davenport faces aggravated assault, domestic assault and tampering with evidence. The indictments read Davenport reportedly put a woman in fear for her life with a knife and later trying to conceal the weapon. Davenport will be arraigned on the indictments in Cumberland County Criminal Court May 15, 2018.
