HALF MILLION DOLLARS IN JEWELRY TAKEN IN CUMBERLAND CO HOME BURGLARY
Cumberland County investigators are looking into a recent home burglary at a residence off of Myrtle Avenue (the exact street will not be disclosed in this story). The homeowner told officers the break-in took place while she was away at a doctor’s appointment in Knoxville. Items taken include a computer, the home security monitor, firearms, Army medals, and a half million dollars in jewelry and $40,000 located in a safe. Possible suspects were named in the incident.
