HARDIN COUNTY MAN ARRESTED FOR VEHICLE THEFT IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY

A Hardin County male found himself in the Cumberland County jail after a reported vehicle theft in Westel. Deputies responded yesterday afternoon to a store just off I-40 where the owner of the automobile said he and 27-year-old Brandon Lee Hopper stopped. When the victim came out of the business, Hopper was gone in his truck and trailer without permission. It was later recovered in Sevier County near the 407 mile marker and Hopper was taken into custody. Last night, he was brought to the Cumberland County jail on a warrant for theft over $60,000.
