Harless Eugene Wood, age 83, of Crossville, passed away Monday, April 30, 2018. He is survived by his wife of 60 years: Roberta Simmons Wood; children: Kenneth Wood and wife, Valarie, Karen Cottrell and husband Lonnie and daughter-in-law: Selena Wood; grandchildren: Kevin, Kristy, Adam, Kalon, and Kari; 6 great-grandchildren; and brothers and sisters, O.C. Wood of Crossville, Richard Wood of Crossville, May Bell Hill of Mount Juliet, and Ruby King of Crossville. Family will receive friends Wednesday, May 2, 2018 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Thursday, May 3, 2018 at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Akins Cemetery.
