HARRIMAN CITY COUNCIL TO DISCUSS PURCHASE OF TRUCK FOR FIRE DEPT.
The Harriman City Council will meet tonight (Tuesday, July 24, 2018) to discuss the purchase of a pumper truck for the fire department. Both of the current fire engines are nearly two decades old and the costs to keep them running are increasing. An almost-new pumper truck has been found with only 300 miles on it, at a cost of $439,000, which is $110,000 less than the cost of a new truck. The meeting starts at 6 p.m. at the Harriman Municipal Office Complex.
