The Harriman City Council is set to convene for its first regular meeting of the month tonight, Tuesday, July 7, at 6:00 p.m. As the first of two scheduled sessions for July, the council faces a packed agenda featuring significant financial approvals, policy expansions, and logistical adjustments.

Election Day Scheduling: The council will consider rescheduling the August 4th meeting to accommodate the upcoming Election Day.
-
Intergovernmental & Lease Agreements: Votes are expected on an Interlocal Cooperation Agreement between the City of Harriman and Roane County, as well as a lease agreement extension with the Mid-East Community Action Agency.
Standard administrative updates will also be provided during the meeting, featuring reports from the Harriman Utility Board (HUB), the City Treasurer, and the City Attorney.
The meeting is open to the public for anyone wishing to attend in person. For residents preferring to watch remotely, the proceedings will be livestreamed on the City of Harriman’s official Facebook page starting at 6:00 p.m.
