The Harriman Fire Department responded to a small apartment blaze on the 700 block of Trenton Street late last night. According to Fire Chief Brad Daniels, when they got on the scene the occupants were attempting to put out the fire in the living room. Crews had the blaze put out within minutes. A cause of the fire was reportedly from an electrical short. No injuries were reported.
