HARRIMAN MAN INJURED IN APARTMENT FIRE
A Harriman man had to be flown to the hospital after a fire Monday. According to reports, fire crews were called to the River Park Apartments on Sewannee Street, at 3 PM where they saw smoke billowing from a second story window. An immediate evacuation began. A male victim was pulled from the building and later transported by Lifestar to UT Medical Center for unknown injuries. No other injuries were noted. The fire started in the bedroom of one of the apartments, however, its cause is unknown at this time. Two apartments received smoke and water damage. Firefighters from Kingston and Rockwood assisted.
