Roane County Deputies were involved in a lengthy high-speed pursuit Wednesday night. Officers say that the driver of the vehicle being pursued, Eric Lewis Gann from Harriman, failed to acknowledge the deputy’s attempts to pull him over initially in the Midtown area of Highway 70. Gann pulled onto I-40, traveled eastbound, and then pulled off at Gallaher Road. Officers were finally able to stop him on Cave Creek Road. Gann faces several charges including driving on a suspended license and reckless endangerment.
