On June 10, 2025, Officer Bryson Watkins of the Harriman Police Department received information about a fugitive, Ankit Patel, with active RICO warrants from Cobb County, Georgia. After confirming the warrants via NCIC and obtaining photos from Detective Justin Spires, Watkins identified potential locations for Ankit Patel and another suspect, Rajesh Patel.

During patrol, Watkins spotted an individual matching Ankit Patel’s description at Rocky Top at the Bridge in Harriman, TN. The individual confirmed his identity, was arrested, and provided a possible location for Rajesh Patel in Knox County. Watkins notified Knox County Deputies, who apprehended Rajesh Patel.

Ankit Patel was transported to Roane County Jail without incident.
