Harriman Police Chief Dereck Pacifico will be giving the State of the Police Dept. address this coming Friday. Pacifico has been chief for a little less than a year but has stated that he wants to keep the public informed about what is going on in the department. The news conference will include details on how crime is being reduced within the city, the targeting of illegal drug users and the reduction of accidents as well. The media event may be attended by the public. It will be held in the Police Dept. Conference Room Friday from 1:30-2 PM.
