The Harriman Police Department is increasing its presence in Riverfront Park after complaints of motorists speeding in the park. Officers are checking speeds on radar, issuing tickets and making sure motorists are careful in the park because children are present. Officials say the speed limit in the park is 15 miles per hour. Police say most offenders are young drivers.
