HARRIMAN UTILITY WORKER CHARGED WITH DUI & LEAVING ACCIDENT SCENE

A Harriman Utility employee was charged with DUI and leaving the scene of an accident while he was driving a company truck. According to reports, 61-year-old Kim Trent Harmon struck the vehicle while traveling on Roane St. and Margrave. The driver of the other vehicle told officers that the man who hit her was driving an HUB utility truck. A witness was able to follow Harmon to the water plant and reported to police. Harmon failed sobriety tests and told officers that he had taken prescription medicine prior to the accident and did not realize he had struck the other vehicle. He has been placed on administrative leave without pay pending the outcome of the investigation.
