HASSLER CHARGED WITH ANOTHER PHARMACY ROBBERY
A Crossville man believed to be linked to several robberies in the area has now been charged in a theft from a Bristol, Virginia, pharmacy. Officers say 43-year-old Terry Hassler was implicated in the May 29 robbery at the RiteAid on Euclid Avenue. Hassler reportedly entered the store, walked to the pharmacy counter and handed the clerk a note demanding oxycodone, of which the employee handed him thousands of dollars worth. Sgt. Steve Crawford with the Bristol, Virginia, Police Department said Hassler has been connected with 11 robberies, including in Cleveland and Harriman. Other robberies in Tennessee and Alabama remain under investigation. Hassler remains in jail in Bradley County with holds on him from other law-enforcement agencies.
