HIGH SCHOOL REPORT CARDS IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY WILL BE DELAYED

According to a press release from the Cumberland County School System, high school report cards will not be issued on Friday, May 26 as originally planned due to a delay in State Reporting. Officials say that End of Course test data is expected to arrive in the next few days. As soon as the information is received from the state, grades will be calculated and report cards issued to high school students. Parents will be notified via School messenger and local media of dates, times, and locations for report card pick up in the coming weeks for their high school student. Students in grades K-8 will receive complete reports cards on Friday, May 26 as planned. TCAP testing data for grades 3-8 will not be included in students’ final averages this year as is allowed by State of Tennessee statute and Cumberland County Board of Education policy due to the delay in score reporting.
