A trial could be coming very soon in Overton County for a man charged with vehicular homicide. The crash happened in January 2017 on Hanging Limb Highway where an automobile driven by 46-year-old Shannon C. Harvill struck a Nissan Maxima operated by 27-year-old Shannon L. Cook of Crawford head on. Cook died in the accident and at least three others were hurt. Harvill faces an additional charge of vehicular assault. In court today, a tentative trial date of November 19, 2019 was set in the case.
