While on patrol yesterday, a Cumberland County deputy observed a motorist traveling an estimated 75 miles an hour on Lantana Road.

The arrest report states that 29-year-old Joshua Jude Marryshow of Crossville maintained the speed as he passed South Cumberland Elementary School.

The deputy noted 30 to 40 children at the playground at the time of the incident.

The pursuit continued and came to an end near Glory Loop.

Marryshow was arrested for reckless driving and served a warrant for failure to appear in court.
