HIKER’S BODY RECOVERED AFTER ACCIDENTAL DEATH SUNDAY IN SMOKIES
Park Rangers say that a 37-year-old man fell to his death in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park Sunday. The victim, whose name has not been released, fell 80 feet from the top of the 100-foot Ramsey Cascades late Sunday afternoon. Witnesses said the man who was hiking alone was climbing across the top of the waterfall before he fell to his death. The hike to Ramsey Cascades is 4 miles and located in the Greenbrier area of the Park. The man’s body was recovered Monday
